For now, a favorite quote from a personal essay inspired by a monthlong trip to India. This essay is set in Varanasi, The City of Lights. Experience the burning ghats, and close encounters with the dead.

“I’m here for internal arson. Don’t touch me.”

~Rachel Resnick, “Death is not Ping-Pong”

And here is a wild piece forged during a month-long trip to Morocco some years ago. It’s translated into Spanish. You can choose which version to read. Jill Adams is the amazing editor for The Barcelona Review. The pic should give you pause, and fair warning. Enter and read…if you dare.
